Tried this breakfast smoothie this morning and it was pretty good and very filling! I could only drink half of it. Next time, I would add in some peanut butter and some spinach to make it more of a green monster smoothie and add in even more nutrients.
Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 banana, broken into chunks
4 large strawberries, cut into chunks
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar (I used Stevia)
In a blender, combine soy milk, oats, banana and strawberries. Add vanilla and sugar if desired. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
